Electron Microscopy Innovative Technologies (EMIT) was founded in 2014 by hardworking entrepreneurs who aimed to provide powerful electron microscope rentals to a diverse range of customers.
With the introduction of Energy Dispersive Spectrometers (EDS) into user-friendly Phenom Desktop Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs), we realized these tools could fulfill most customers' needs for quality control, R&D, and materials analysis. We pioneered the first SEM rental services in the U.S. to enable customers to keep their R&D in-house while saving valuable time and money.
At EMIT, we offer a comprehensive selection of electron microscope rentals for both short-term and long-term use, including daily, weekly, monthly, and extended rentals. Each rental comes with new user training, and our off-site rentals also include instrument setup and remote support. For larger projects, our rental solutions are more cost-effective, as renting a desktop SEM typically costs about a quarter of sending samples to an external lab. For customers with only a few samples to analyze, we provide affordable hourly EDS analysis services.
