We offer weekly (7 days) and monthly (28 days) electron microscope rentals, including Phenom XL rentals, at customer locations. Our team will set up the equipment and provide guidance on how to use it. Setup is typically done the day before your rental begins to ensure the system is fully operational. Our staff provides training on both the SEM services and EDS software, which usually takes less than 2 hours. We're always available for phone support, and our optional remote access support can assist you with troubleshooting if needed. Each rental includes up to 4 hours of remote access support, with additional support available upon request.

All of our Phenom XL rentals, which are part of our electron microscope rentals, come equipped with Energy Dispersive Spectrometers (EDS) that can measure the chemical composition of samples. In addition to point analysis, the Phenom XL software provides EDS linescan and mapping capabilities, enhancing our SEM services.

Our Phenom XL rentals are equipped with Automated Image Mapping, allowing for the stitching of large samples into high-resolution files. This advanced software is commonly utilized in our electron microscope rentals for archiving sample data or identifying small defects and features across extensive sample areas, making it an essential tool in our SEM services.

EMIT offers all of our customers access to 3D Surface Reconstruction using shape from shading of the 4-quadrant backscattered detector. With our SEM services, a 3D surface scan can reveal detailed surface topography and comparative measurements of Ra, Rz, and Sa within seconds. Additionally, we provide options for electron microscope rentals and Phenom XL rentals to enhance your research capabilities.

With the optional Particle Metric software package, the Phenom XL, available through Phenom XL rentals, transforms into a powerhouse metrology machine for automated particle size and shape analysis of thousands of particles, all at the click of a button. This makes it an excellent choice for those seeking comprehensive SEM services or efficient electron microscope rentals.
